BRANDON DAVIS

Hello and welcome to my website. My name is Brandon Davis and I'm a journalist and author.

I'm originally from North Little Rock and majored in news and editorial journalism at the University of Arkansas, graduating in 2019. While in school, I realized that sports journalism was my dream passion in life. I began my journalism career as a sports reporter for the university's newspaper, the Arkansas Traveler. I served as the beat reporter for Arkansas softball, football and volleyball and also covered men's basketball, women's basketball, baseball, soccer, men's golf and women's golf. For my work, I was the recipient of one of the best collegiate sports reporters in the south, winning third place of the 2019 Green Eyeshade Awards by the Society of Professional Journalists.

I also served as a correspondent for the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, covering high school football and continuing my Arkansas softball coverage and a freelancer for Softball America, covering the 2019 Stillwater Regional for softball.

Currently, I work at KNWA & Fox 24, the NBC and FOX station in Northwest Arkansas. On the side, I'm working to develop an on-air presence for sports reporting.

In addition to my journalist career, I also am a self-published author who has published a couple of autobiographies. I'm currently working on my latest novel, the Soldier.
